@Ebony I’ve been wondering the same thing. This is super helpful- thankyou! I’m just wondering with finger foods, do you let her swollen the food like toast or take it away? That sounds stupid to ask but I’m so scared my LG will choke if I don’t take it away once it starts falling apart
@Chloe this might sound hash but let her choke. It will help her learn how to swallow without choking. If she's coughing she's OK and trying to move the food by herself. We let her swallow the big foods. She's learning not too put too much in at once at the moment so there's a bit more choking 😅
My little girl is 8 months at the end of the month she's on 3 meals a day which is a mix between BLW and spoonfed For example today she had Breakfast, summer fruits porridge and 8oz bottle Snack- baby puffs Lunch Pancakes and banana quarters and little yogurt for dessert and 7oz bottle Dinner sausage, beans and mashed potato and little yogurt for dessert and 7oz bottle Bedtime bottle 9oz
6 month old here but she's a proper foodie and been tryingnto steal our food since 3 months. We do 3 meals a day and milk in-between with finger food for breakfast and lunch and purees for dinner. We started her with boiled broccoli 🥦 and slowly brought in other soft finger foods like blueberry pancakes and sweet potato fritters. We've done scrambled egg and toast too. Anything she can gum on and practice the chewing and moving food around her mouth. Ella's kitchen website gives some good ideas on finger foods for older babies
