Car seat advise

My 3 month old is on the joie I-snug2 (came with icandy peach 7 travel set). He’s 6kg (50th percentile) and 59cm height (25th percentile). Reading into car seat safety it doesn’t seem like joie’s are a recommended brand but I’m getting overwhelmed with all the information out there! Any advise when we should look into a different/better car seat that would last him longer?

All infant carriers are “safe” in terms of the crash testing they’ve undergone, it’s just that some seats don’t provide a good fit for babies at all stages due to the inserts that come with them, etc. If you’re happy that baby is fitting well in the seat then you can keep him in there for a good few months yet whilst you do some research into your next seat 😊 It’s often recommended to wait until after six months as babies’ centiles can fluctuate a lot in the early months.

Avionaut sky 2 is one of the only ones that will be suitable from now and will last a while, however if baby ends up above the 75th centile. It won’t last until HBB age x

@Sophie thank you! He’s comfortable and fits well in there for now but yeah will look into changing in a couple of months🥰

@Kiera thank you, I’ll look into that one 🙂
