@Carry he has to wear clothes though
@Carry what kind of supplements
@heather what 🤣 how is he shredding the clothes?!? With his teeth?!?? 😰
@Carry yesss!!! He is chewing holes in his long sleeve shirts and socks. Tears off his shoes and chews on them.
@heather 🙈 you can get stuff to stop biting your nails, it has a bitter taste. Maybe you can put that on his clothes?
@Nilam I might have to look into it. It’s like a have a puppy not a toddler
@heather 😂😂😂
@heather keep a spray bottle on you and spray him when he does it. He’ll learn quickly.
Actually I’ve seen kids do that. Chew on their clothes and wear them down. It’s a coping mechanism , I’m wondering if your guy is suffering with anxiety or something? There’s a reason for everything That’s what I would do is figure out the “why”
My kid was eating everything too, cardboard , his books, he would pick at the couch and pull out the stuffing.. come to find out he was just feeling peckish 😂 So now I keep snacks ahead of him at all times and he’s stopped eating things he shouldn’t ( trust me prior to this I fed my kid, he eats ALOT)
He does this at home, at daycare, happy or not. I am thinking it’s probably a sensory thing but don’t know how to help stop it.
You should try those onsies that fully cover the whole body that they can’t get their arms out of. It should help with that
Another group was saying pica is often a iron or vitamin deficiency to try a multivitamin. Thanks ladies
Keep him away from it? You should try organic supplements.
