Smelly Gas

Hi, My 4 week old babies have been constipated for around 2-3 days now. We are waiting on a GP to call. We have always had problems with their trapped wind too. Because of this, changed to a comfort formula. We were using infacol but clearly it didn’t work so have changed to Dentinox and it seems to get the burps out quite well. The last 24 hours have been the most disgusting of my life. Their gas has now started smelling like rotten eggs and it’s almost unbearable. They still are not pooing either. I have tried near enough everything I can without GP advice. So maybe there is something I’ve missed?

I would definitely take your baby to the emergency just in case.. I’m sorry you’re little one is going through this 🥺 my baby used to have trapped gas so we used “infants Mylicon” that literally helped him to poop and fart everything out but we had to keep using it everyday as well to help him:(

Call the gp again tomorrow and if they don’t help just go to your local urgent care to check 🥺🫶🏼 that would’ve given me atleast less anxiety bc I’m not sure if it is or not normal but it does not hurt to check for your baby at an urgent care! ✨🥺 sorry if I scared you ! I meant to put urgent care not the emergency !
