Husband takes a long vacation..

My husband took a 11 day trip, went to South America with his best friend. Meanwhile, I’m at home with a 19 month old, doing all the childcare on my own. When he got back from his trip, he didn’t seem appreciative of the work. We were also preparing to move, so I was making appts to fix things in the house, talking with our realtor, starting to pack. I thought he would at least give me a card saying “thank you for everything”. The most time I’ve been away from my child is 3-4 hours (besides working my part time job). My husband doesn’t seem to see the difference (him going away for a long vacation, vs me barely getting time to myself). A part of me thinks he doesn’t really respect or understand the work that it takes. Just disappointed, feeling trapped in this situation

Sounds like it's your turn for a holiday!

You book yourself the same trip, girls trip and leave him to look after the 19 month old then and only then will he understand

He will never appreciate it until he has to live in your shoes. You need to book some time away - start with a day but work up to a long weekend. Mama deserves a holiday too!

Sounds like you aren’t puttin your foot down about the time you need! It’s not a question it’s a demand.

@Kirsty what I would do lol like ohhhhhhhhh 😳 ok ok cool 👌🏾 have a blast sir soon as he walked in I would have been preparing to walk out lmfao

Sounds like someone needs a 2 weeks girls trip!
