@Jess thank you!
It will entirely depend on your area and what you look for. We pay £76 per day for our nursery. It drops as she gets older and the children to staff ratio increases.
We are paying £8 an hour until free hours kick in at 9 months x
£66 day rate for us
If you have a nursery in mind that’s local to you, your best going on their website usually they have a price for half day/full days listed, if not email them!
3 days a week, using 15 free hours and paying via tax free childcare costs us £500 per month x
We’ve paid £750 this month for 3 weeks, Monday to Thursday, that is after the 15 hours free so 2.5 days🥲 we do also get the tax free childcare which is were the government pay 20% of your nursery bill x
Our local nurseries are around £50/£60 a day to send a child. I would try look at local nurseries to see if they have any info on their daily charges. That should give you an idea of your area and for how long you want them to go. I don’t believe you get any of the free hours until 9months. Unsure if you can start claiming other government incentives at that point either but worth looking into
