Magnetic tiles

We got some magnetiles out from amazon a while ago now what I regret is that I didnt take the ones that are full plain, i took the ones like just the border are shaped I'll insert a picture of the ones I wished I took because then you can only built them up but not use them as car garage for exemple because vehicle gets stuck 😅

I’ve seen a lot of videos on tik tok say the unbranded ones become loose if they’re chucked about as a heads up. The magnets are obvs quite small so that could be a choking hazard if they were to swallow it. I’d personally go for the actual brand but definitely consider your options. I know saving money is always a win but when it comes to safety, I’d go for the branded.

I agree with @Bréa . We have the first screen shot and they are brilliant. My sister has the 2nd screenshot and they are flimsier and harder to build with.

Branded ones are safety tested. Safety over anything anyday. They are pricey but you can build your collection as time goes by. Playmags a British brand was our first - well made, loads of different types to expand play. They are stong so you can build tall structures. Connetix has been brilliant too - ball run is great. They have a playbook - get loads of little ideas. Magnetic tile play encourages shape recognition, colours , imagination , structure building, language development. It is just an all round toy. It helps build patience and resilience. We have the dolls house furniture that can be incorporated into the magnetic tile house , you can build a farm with all the animals. Its endless hours of fun. But I admit - comes at a cost.
