We dont really do snacks, we do 3 meals and 3 bottles, the odd time if we are out longer than planned or been delayed serving a meal I give her some cheese or crackers or even just the baby wafers or melty sticks just to keep her going/occupied for a little while til I can feed her
We give our LG squashed kidney beans (tinned ones),oranges, crabsticks, pear, watermelon, whatever is leftover in the fridge that she can eat really! She also eats 3 meals a day and I breastfeed her for her daytime naps,in the morning, and last thing at night also.
If at home will do yoghurt, cheese, chicken or whatever is leftover in the fridge, peas (lol), cucumber and pepper sticks, hummus, cottage cheese, avocado, fruit that kind of thing but if out / don’t want to make a mess those baby crisps, cheese, melty wafer things, cucumber etc
Rice cakes, banana, cheese or melt sticks. But we only give him them if we are out and he really wants something
@Laura haha squashed kidney beans is a new one for me! I may try that for my son. He is a foodie so may be interested
I didn’t really start introducing snacks until over a year with my eldest. My youngest is just on 3 meals still. But some easy healthy snacks I use/d with my eldest- cheese, cucumber sticks or pitta strips and hummus, fruit, raisins, cheerios, a hard boiled egg, rice cakes, homemade oat bars or energy balls etc.
