Does anyone know what the thing is in between legs? It looks nothing like my daughters where you could clearly see. I’ve had a few boy mums/moms tell me it’s a penis?!!

First scan looks boy, but second looks girl!

I think they’ll confirm girl as generally it’s more clear when it’s a boy x

little girl, sometimes the little girl bits can be abit swollen but u can clearly see the 3 lines which indicate girl

As an ultrasound tech, that’s a girl! You can see the lines- we call hamburger sign (the anatomy is her labia)

@Natalie that’s what I’m confused about the tech asked the assistant if she was “happy” with that, and she said yeah.. then said that. I’ve got the place ringing me tomorrow to confirm it because we think one looks like a boy too. so confused!

@Sonia one of them looks boyish to me, I can’t see the lines like I did with my daughter at all! and baby was being awkward and didn’t want to show their gender at 1st.. so how would I know if they checked correctly please?

It’s possible that baby could be sitting weirdly, but it could also depend on how the ultrasound waves “cut” through the image. Sometimes we see different slices of the image. If baby was sitting weird or not “cooperating” that could be why. To me that looks like girl. But it’s possible baby was just hiding from the tech🥰🤣 I would say girl from that image though.

@Sonia yeah they said baby wasn’t showing their gender, then she looked for 2 seconds and said it’s a girl, but one of the images looks like boy parts? how often does it happen where they tuck their bits in? I did everything I could to try and make it clear.. one mom showed me her scan that looked like mine and it took them 15 minutes to find the penis but mine didn’t take that long to look, so what can I do? I did attach both images, just looks confusing compared to my daughters!and when you say baby hiding from tech, do you mean there’s a chance it could be a boy or they just showed them very quickly it’s a girl? sorry to ask, I’m just worried of it being wrong!
