How close did they get baby’s weight with growth scans?
I need growth scans with my current pregnancy as my daughter was 10lbs and we had complications with birth ect due to her weight, but I’m curious to how close the scans actually were with baby weight at birth if that’s making sense, my last scan said baby was going to be 7lbs8 so it was well off

I was told average baby ended up being under 7lbs estimated was supposed to be closer to 8lbs.
At 35+5 I was told she was 6lb 11. She was born at 36+5 weighing 6lb 11 so not too far off. They were predicting 9lb at 40 weeks
First baby I was told around 6lb 6 at week 36, she was born week 38 at 7lb 7.

Nowhere near. I was told he was "average" all the way through pregnancy (in two different countries!) and would be 7lbs7oz at birth. He was full term and 5lbs6oz.
