I think as mum you absolutely have a say in this, my little girl goes to nursery, she does three 8-1 mornings although usually dropped off more towards 9. Don't get me wrong it took what felt like forever to get her settled, she was heartbroken and I would be so upset in the car feeling awful, but she has fun when she is there, she's socialising and learning rules and skills. She also gets fed good food! X
Your FIL doesn’t allow you to collect your own child? Sorry, what?? If this was my situation my child wouldn’t be going there point blank. You are the child’s mother, it is absolutely your say.
My little girl only goes to nursery a day and a half a week but the stuff she’s learning and coming home saying and doing is so good. She knows lots of songs and comes out with things that she’s definitely not learnt from us. It seems a weird situation. My MIL did have my little girl a day a week / half a day a week for a while when I was working but she wouldn’t want her until 8:45 at night 😅. Sounds like it’s messing up bedtime association which will end up getting messy x
I’m glad Chloe said it! It’s your child! You will collect them when you want to! 8:45 in my eyes is way too late! Yes nursery they will bring home every illness known to man but it’s so good for them! Put your foot down girl!
To be fair collecting him so late sounds disruptive and Nursey is great for children . They socialise etc having parents help is great but they can’t offer what a Nursey can x
