Looking for support
My husband is deploying for 11 months. Our baby will be 1. He’s in the national guard so there’s not really a base we live at or somewhere I can get support from other wives. I’m planning to move so I can at least live near my parents but I’m an emotional wreck. It feels like a giant cloud looming over my head and I can’t fathom him being gone that long. Looking for any sort of support or advice.

My husband is deployed currently for guard and we have a 3 year old and a 6 week okay. It’s a lot. We did a pre deployment poster board of everything we wanted done prior whether that was tasks around the house or stuff we wanted to do as a family. But don’t save the house shit til the very end. We said no a lot to things last few months before he left so we could do what we really wanted even if that was just being at home together. People understand. Family matters, but also family matters.
