It’s just to make sure it doesn’t cover the exit for baby because if it does then it will require a C-section. I had anterior with my last and low but wasn’t covering and they made sure later down the line I was high risk anyway for other things so already had extra scans.
My friend had this but it moved out of the way in time for her to have a natural birth
I'm in the same boat at the same time due 30th March (was originally given the 12th april) I've been told I've got 90% chance it will move but if it doesn't it means a cesarean it's made me worry but I also had a family friend and the placenta moved in the last week and she gave birth vaginally so I've got some high hopes. Bonus we get extra scans and I wished I had more with my daughter but was greatful her pregnancy was standard. I always though having mine as close as they are may cause complications somewhere I'm thankful this is the only upset I've had so far with my boy. My daughter was born March 3rd this year.
Yes I went for mine today and they told me this too, I’m a bit worried about it but apparently 9/10 woman placenta will move up by this time
I haven’t personally but both my friend and sister have recently had this. On both occasions the placenta had moved by the time they reached their 32 week scan ❤️
