Yeaa we went thru light therapy and now we might have to do it again

Currently looking at my jaundice baby, she’s doing great though. At the hospital her bilirubin levels were great but she developed it after we came home. Her pediatrician said it’s nothing to worry about if it doesn’t stay for more than 4 weeks since she’s exclusively breastfed, and pooping and peeing like normal. My 2nd had it too and almost needed light therapy but we gave her lots of sunlight and formula and her levels went down. :)

If you’re breastfeeding make sure to be giving baby vitamin d drops

Mine had to do light therapy for a day. His levels were 20 at the time.

Breastfeeding exclusively helps.

My son was jaundice we went home friday the day after i had him and I took him to the er Saturday night and ended up staying at the children's hospital that night while he got treatment with a biliblanket and bililight and went home Sunday afternoon he's been good since he's now 5 weeks old today

@Teela they sent us home with biliblanket for the day and we go back tomorrow to see if it helped. He’s a week old today

I've got an august baby who developed jaundice at a week or. We had weekly blood tests to monitor it as not other symptoms than the high billyrubin level and they suspected it was just from breast feeding. 3 months on and his level suddenly plummeted over a weekend 🎉 however his final check showed high enzyme levels when they were checking liver function so we're still a work in progress 🤦🤷
