Sickness

My baby is 4 1/2 months old and has been sick for 3 of those months. He’s got a constant runny/ congested nose. Here recently he’s developed a terrible cough. Am I over exaggerating when I want him to get a chest X-ray and labs done to make sure it’s nothing underlying?

My baby started to get like that about 3 1/2 months and I told his doctor about and showed him videos of him being like the way he is and he literally listened to his chest and said nothings wrong and he’s still got a runny nose and coughing as well as congestion so I feel like he didn’t take me seriously as a first time mom so my opinion is stress that your baby is taken care of the way you want him to be even if you’re “over exaggerating” at least your taken care of your baby and that’s the most important thing you can do because they can’t speak up.

Aww, I think it's a good idea to have him checked out. Even if there is nothing found you have at least ruled out anything serious

Also make sure your filters on your air intake are changed! That helped us a lot with congestion.

I would get him checked! My little one and I have been sick for about a month! I finally took him in and they prescribe so nose drops to help fry up the congestion which was our biggest problem. He is still coughing but not nearly as stuffy so I feel like he can breath better. You know your baby best! Get him check out and give yourself piece of mind at least
