Milk bottles at 14mo

My 14mo is still having his cows milk in his mam bottles. He drinks water out of his TT sippy cup during the day. I'd really like to transition him to something else for his morning and bedtime milk bottles, but I just know that he loves the comfort of the bottle teats. How can I get him to transition and what should I use? I'm worried if I stop his bedtime bottle then he will struggle to get to sleep. Is anyone else's 14mo still having milk in their bottles?

Yes my little boy has 2 bottles one at bedtime and one in the middle of the night still! He loves it for comfort and doesn’t take to dummy or comforter so no idea how to wean him off it! X

Mine has a milk in a bottle morning and night, I've gradually reduced the am one to 120ml rather than 200 so she eats better at breakfast with the idea to get rid of that one totally first. But tbh I'm not going to rush the night time one, same as you've mentioned it brings her comfort and helps her to sleep. Honestly they're so little still and need that comfort I think personally, so I'm going to keep giving her it for as long as she wants it (probably an unpopular opinion 🤭) xx

My 14 month old will drink water/juice out of various cups but will only drink his milk out of his bottles still. I have tried it in all his others cups but he refuses it

Yeah my little boy is 14 months and still uses his mam bottles for his wake up, afternoon and bedtime bottles. He is very offended if I try to offer it in anything else but will drink water out of a few different cups/straws. I need to drop the afternoon one and replace it with a small snack and I think reduce the bedtime one as he doesn't always finish it anymore but to be honest I'm trying not to worry too much at the moment about it. He likes the comfort and the cuddles while he has the bottle so we won't swap it out just yet

These comments are reassuring as my boy still has a morning and bedtime bottle ❤️
