Preschool vaccines / 3.5 year olds

I had the same they didn't contact us, I called them to book, was dreading it but went fine they got my husband to cuddle him so he was facing away, he cried for a minute but was fine

@Beth ahh thanks think I’ll Take my Husband with me. Was he ok afterwards ? He’s currently Unwell at moment the winter germs. So might see to get it done before Christmas 🎄

Yes like nothing happened and no after affects, yes I'd wait until he's better as don't think they will do it if he's unwell

It was fine my boy sat on my knee and 2 nurses gave him an injection at the same time in each arm (they had a teddy on a self for him to look at and talk about) he was absolutely fine afterwards had a little cry for 2 mins and that was it x

Took my daughter at the start of the month she had to have mmr one and the preschool one it was a horrible experience I was really hoping they’d do it at the same time but it was only one nurse and she did one after the other. This of course has made the whole experience horrible for my daughter. They’re now telling me I have to take her for another mmr vaccine even though she’s already had the two doses she’s supposed to have 🤦🏻‍♀️ she’s been scared to step into the surgery afterwards when I had to speak to receptionists so I doubt I’ll get her to take another shot
