I was told that I could be given progesterone if I met the criteria. The criteria at my hospital was “1) at least one previous loss. 2) a viable pregnancy- in the correct place& heartbeat visualised. 3) spotting/bleeding” When I was told this, the nurse winked at me when she said three almost as if to say “even if you haven’t had this… say you have so we can give it to you.” So I did.. now I’m 28w! I swear by progesterone and aspirin! Wishing you all of the luck in the world!
I had 4 miscarriages and all testing came back normal. I was finally prescribed progesterone and baby aspirin. I’m currently just over 38 weeks! I truly believe it saved my pregnancy. If you see a doctor tomorrow definitely request it. Wish you all the best 💕
I would request it and explain you think it could help. I didn't even have to ask for it when I went for my early scan at 6 weeks (due to bleeding, 3rd pregnancy after 2 losses). Hopefully they'll be clued up on the NICE guidance and just give it to you so you don't have to ask. Hope it all goes well!!❤️
Did they test your progesterone with this pregnancy to see if your levels are low? I think whether or not you get it would depend entirely on your provider. Worth asking about though!
