Getting in the high chair

Mine now hates the highchair and sits on my lap to eat. Not ideal!

I've not seen the video but we bought a little floor chair with a tray that we use when babe isn't feeling the high chair.

We’re going through the same here! Locked legs and back arches 🫠

I haven’t seen the video, but my boy started to hate his high chair so we got the mamas & papas bug chair and attached it to the table chair, and then we put his bowl on the actual table rather than the tray. He loves everything about meal times now x

@Becky yeah that’s what I’m having to do with mine! With him being such a Velcro baby I’m so touched out and would really like to eat a meal without another human on me if possible 🥲

@Stephanie we have one of those but he won’t stay seated in it! Just stands up/rocks forward out of it 😂

@Amelia I did think about getting a booster seat as thought he might prefer that! But then he eats fine in the high chair at nursery so I don’t know x

I know the video you're on about, I think, where he swipes the legs and gets them in quick? I just can't get the straps connected quick enough before she is out of place 😆

@Annalise no it was a technique she used to make them relax so they weren't rigid anymore! Then she sort of pre-folded the kid into the seat! I'm probably describing this terribly 🤣

Booster seat has worked a charm!

@Natalie I realised tonight a booster seat won't fit under our table so looking at a little toddler table and chairs now 😅

Im sure a toddler chair and table will work, my little apparently eats everything at nursery and they sit on little chairs together x

@Natalie I don't think it will. There's a piece of wood that comes down underneath the table surface and runs round the edge, meaning there's hardly any space between the chair and this piece of wood without a booster seat. I don't think there'll be any space for legs with one!

@Natalie this is what confuses me about mine as he eats everything in the exact same high chair that we have at home at nursery 😂
