How accurate are growth charts? Checked and at 34 weeks it’s showing my baby is around 7lb already! Preparing myself for a big baby x

I'm the same! At 36 weeks the baby was 7.9 lbs! They can be 10% either way they say x
Neither are accurate- guess they are the best tools they have but don’t worry about it x

Midwife or scan-based? Neither is particularly accurate, but a scan is much more accurate than bump measurements. I'm 34w, and my midwife told me that I'm measuring 94th centile. But I've only gained 7lb in total, and I look tiny... I had the same 1st time round, and she was born at 39+1, weighing 7lb5oz. By all means, prepare for a bigger baby, but don't stress too much 😊 x
