Struggling with wind! 🥺

My 9 day old baby boy is really struggling to get wind up after most feeds. He is formula fed and is currently on 3oz aptamil every 3-4 hours. We are trying all the different burping techniques/positions but it can still take ages for anything to come out. Is there anything I can give him at home to help with this? I feel so helpless when he's uncomfortable 😢

We went on to Infacol for the same reason at about the same age. He is now off it about a month at almost 4 months it helped us. A drop before bottle

@Amy this is really good to know! Can I just start him on Infacol without speaking to a GP or health visitor etc? I am desperate to help him, bless him!

are you burping between each oz? also make sure you're lying baby on his left side when feeding as laying on the right can cause trapped wind due the the shape of the stomach!

We used colief (from health visitor recommendation) it's worked a treat. We obv still do baby massage etc etc

Infacol, and burping breaks during the feed helps us most of the time x

We tried infacol but found it stopped working so now baby is on colief and doesn’t stop farting 😂 maybe get some advise from the health visitor xx

@Danielle we're due a visit from the health visitor on Tuesday morning but I don't really want him to wait until then with nothing 🥺 xx

It’s worth maybe looking at some different bottles. Not all bottles agree with all babies

@Demi give infacol a go, if not colief has really helped my baby just it’s a longer process to give and more expensive 🫠 but I definitely recommend it xx

Really recommend wonky winding technique and biogaia probiotic drops. Infacol, colief and gripe water didnt do anything for my one
