Milk

My son has been on one bottle a day since he was close to 12 months old. He has just one bottle before bed now. I feel like I see loads of posts from people saying their LOs are still on 2 bottles a day, some even still having a bottle through the night. My son hasn't had a night feed since about 7 months old. Am I wrong for only giving him one bottle a day? I feel like I'm the only one giving him this much milk

Every baby is different! They technically don’t need milk at all after 12 months so do whatever works for your LO 😊

My daughter normally has only one bottle a day before she goes to bed but she breastfeeds all day and night and I feel like I shouldn’t being doing it? Idk I think every baby is different!

1 bottle is fine if your offering other dairy products throughout the day and have a balanced diet! Cows milk is more for vitamins and bone development at this age so i wouldn’t worry if he’s got a good diet:) x

I am not giving my baby milk, she rejected cow milk, we have been doing yoghurt since she clocked 1 year.

@Lewa my daughter is dairy free completely and we use soya milk, almond yoghurt, vegan cheese ect there’s many alternatives to make sure they still get enough vitamins x

My daughter has like a half bottle in the morning and a full bottle before bed. But she's not too eager on the morning one, she often doesn't drink it so we will probably go down to just the bedtime bottle soon. Every baby is different, we just have to follow their cues 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Ebony thank you xx I will try this options ❤️❤️

They're all different. My girl loves her milk and has a full beaker in the morning and bottle at bedtime. She's not had night bottles since 9 weeks

I’m only giving one bottle a day as advised by health visitor. She actually said I don’t even need to do that if giving dairy elsewhere in diet.
