My head has been in 2 different minds of it but I’m glad I’m not the only one xx
I felt like I wanted another when my baby turned a year old! She's now 2 years+2 months old and I'm 33 weeks pregnant, I think it's best to wait a little as the gap you'll have between them both will be really hard. You need to think of nursery, you get 15 hours free if both you and partner are working (maternity pay counts) but as soon as you aren't working/maternity runs out and your first child isn't 3 years old then you won't get any help until they hit 3. The struggle of having 2 so young together, I honestly personally wish I had a slightly bigger gap between mine and waited until my oldest was in preschool so you don't have to deal with both of them 100% constantly and to give the newborn more attention like the first baby had rather than having to constantly share your attention. Just giving you some things to think of that I really should've thought more about lol xx
@Lisa I went back for enough time in between my 2 (22 months apart) that I still got the 15 free hours so it's possible! First was 10 months when I went back (part time- just enough to qualify for the free hours). It hasn't been as hard as I expected it to be, but my 2nd is a LOT more chilled than my first so I think that has more to do with it rather than the age gap! X
I’m 15 weeks pregnant and my little man is nearly 11 months, want them close together then they’ll be at school around the same time, be similar ages to do things with, there’s 18 months between me and my brother and he’s like my best friend now, will be the same age gap for my 2 and I can’t wait! Got to do what’s right for you they’ll always be people they tell you to wait, or tell you you need a bigger age gap but it’s totally your decision at the end of the day and different things work for different people 😘xx
Girl I’m 6 weeks pp and I want another 😅 xx
