Nutramigen constipation

My 4 week old has just started in the last 48hours on Nutramigen and omeprazole and he had the best night since his birth yesterday sleeping so well and all day he has been content and seemed very comfortable. Suddenly tonight he started screaming and passed a stool. I changed his nappy and his poo was very hard and dry, completely different to normal. He then carried on crying and half an hour later he done another poo which was slightly less hard but he just seems to be in discomfort still. Is this normal? He was almost fully breastfed with just one bottle of aptamil at night then suddenly changed to just nutramigen so it could be the sudden change to formula?
