Vaccines 💉 😬

We are heading towards no vaccines due to religious and personal beliefs. We really don’t want judgment on this decision but we are wanting to know those parents who decided to go the No vaccines route, what do you guys do when baby is sick?

Our son has only gotten the whooping cough vaccine. My younger brother almost died from it as an infant. So I get anxious about that specifically. But for other things.. you can make natural cough syrup if you don't like store bought medicine. But there's organic infant cough syrup and pain reliever/fever reducer. Cool baths/oatmeal baths do wonders. There's a lot of helpful at home remedies you can find on google/pinterest! If you don't trust somethin, do some research first before giving it to your baby, always! But our son has been great so far. He hasn't really had a fever. Or a bad cough yet. Knock on wood lol but he only got a bit warm and a tiny bit of flem when teething comes around every now and then.

Im pro vaccine im no one to judge on your beliefs but I have the same question what do parents do when your babies get sick or they’re in a life threatening situation that requires a vaccine. Just genuinely curious

We had to get our son everything (except flu & Covid) bc of where we were but with our next she won’t be getting all of them and not as young, if at all. I don’t plan on treating their sicknesses any differently bc there really wouldn’t be a reason to. If you’re nursing that should help a lot since your body will start providing the antibodies as soon as you are exposed or it senses baby is exposed. This is still a go to with my 2 yr/old & it helps regardless of vaccination status. But other than that it depends on age and what you’re comfortable with. You can buy stuff in the store, and there are some decent more natural brands for kids or you can make your own. We mostly nurse & do broth &/or tea (w/ or w/out local raw honey). Lots of fluids and rest just like adults honestly. We used something from the store that was supposed to be natural for teething but I don’t remember what it was😬 I know elderberry is supposed to help, but I don’t remember what age they can start taking tha

Depending on where you are you’ll need to put aside extra funds for childcare if you need it as most mainstream childcare places require basic vaccines (not covid I mean like mmr polio etc) You also want to keep your child away from any immunosuppressed people. On another note though I can’t see the point in believing in any god if you don’t think they have graced us with modern medicine for a reason. We pray to God for help when kids are sick, it’s given to us and we refuse it 🙃 Not judging it's just curious behaviour.

@Arianna Esther Preciado thank you! We do plan on doing our research for every vaccine offered. We aren’t 100% anti vaccines. We do know that some vaccines are necessary and we do plan on giving those to our son. But some we did our research on and just don’t believe it is necessary for them to have. And that’s why we were wondering “hmm well god forbid they get sick with this, what’s the healing method?” But thank you!!

@Rhianna thank you this helped a lot!

No vaccine except for the vitamin k at birth, so far he only had pink eye which we used breast milk, and he’s had a fevers due to teething, for that we used infants Tylenol, but as he got older we used Motrin, he’s had a cold and we used Zarbees baby cough syrup with the agave and chest cream that worked great. My son is 11 months and over all one the of the healthiest babies, we had Covid in our house and we didn’t shy away from sick kids or people being was wanted to build his immune system by letting others hold him not once did that kid get sick from other people.

Heyy, im on the same boat, I give natural medicine there is a brand called Mommy Bliss and he drinks breastmilk(antibodies) and we get a lot of ☀️☀️☀️ We also use homeopathic medicine

@Tt thank u so much!!!
