In my experience when my babies do this, it’s either they’re not hungry enough or they’re teething
Teething?
Btw 🤣He is so cute may allah bless him
My daughter is breastfed but she's been doing this on the breast and sometimes with her cork too. Pretty sure it's cuz she's teething (just cut one but got another following close behind) i found that holding her hand while shes eating has helped a lot
Could be the teat size too, if the flow is too slow for them x
Have you checked for teeth? My little man started doing that when he started teething. Has he started food yet?
My sons is 3 months and 6 days n does this …
@Nicole my little girl does the same she's 6m and think she's possibly teething too for months now
He is teething but nothing has cut through yet, nothing is even bulging yet .. no he’s not started food yet, did try him with baby rice 3 times as my HV suggested but he gagged on it and cried everytime so I’m gonna wait a bit longer before I try again, must just be a teething thing then x
My boy did it when the tear size was too small. When I got the next size up, he stopped with a faster milk flow. X
Teething
These aren’t the best teats for tongue tie - mam or lansinoh natural wave slow flow teats are the best (you can get them on amazon). Tongue tie can cause massive issues with feeding
My baby does this when she is done eating but is teething also

I agree with MJ, either teething or not hungry
Looks like he’s teething! It’s like they do want the milk in their belly but it also hurts them. My LO was teething for months before he got his through but he’d do this when it was flaring up x
He's just curious figuring things out at that age and he's probably teething and the nipple is giving him a weird feeling
Mine does the same!!
Very cute! Agree teething. It looks like the action of drinking is reminding him that his teeth are a bit ouchy so he's trying to get in there
My son does this while breastfeeding…. It’s so painful lol his lil nails scratch my nip.
Possibly teething or teething related discomfort. Mine does the same - I just try to hold his hand when he does
My boy started doing this when he started teething, once I figured that put I'd move the bottle over slightly so he could get his fingers in and chew at the same time🤣
My little boy is coming up to 6 months, has cut two teeth and still does this. I think it’s because his teeth hurt him, I try to hold his hand whilst he feeds so it’s not such a distraction but more often than not he bites on the teat 🫠🤣
