Waiting list
Does anyone know how long the waiting list for a diagnosis in Bedfordshire? My 3 year old has just been referred and wanted to know roughly what the current wait time is as I know so many people say it takes years etc

Not sure about your area but my coordinator asked if I'd like to be contacted for any last minute cancelations. Maybe you can ask if you are interested. Hope this may help.
We are Buckinghamshire and waited just over a year. we have an assessment next month for my 3yr old

I’m not in your area but my assessment came 8 months after referral! I’m still waiting for speech and language therapy though! If you email the department on your referral confirmation, they will give you and idea of the rough waiting times to expect!
