Tax free childcare (UK)
When making payments to my nursery on the government gateway account, what do you put in the box ‘first payment date’? Is it asking for the date on the invoice? It wouldn’t let me put a date earlier than today’s date but this is an overdue payment for November!

The day you want it to be paid to the nursery.
It's the date you want the money to leave your account and pay the nursery
Just put todays date, that’s what I always do. It means the date you want the money to be sent x
@Lauren it often won’t let you do today or tomorrow if it’s the evening as classed as next working day
I’ve always put the same date I put it in and not had a problem

I would do a one off payment and put the first payment date as tomorrow (but it might not let you as it’s too late in the evening) in which case the day after tomorrow (26/11)
