Tablet/ipad

Has anyone got their toddler a tablet yet? I’m debating getting him one for Christmas. Not for everyday use just for his hospital appointments and mine specially mine to keep him entertained. And maybe the odd long drive (my partner is from wales so we go every so often) Also to clarify it’d only be used for bbc I player because he loves the gruffalo and all Julia Donaldson things I just don’t want people judging us because they think “I can’t look after him”

I’ve got mine one! Won’t be used very often, we put white noise on my iPad so it would probably be for that and long drives if needed! X

I'm getting my boy a tablet for Christmas. He will only have it when he needs it

We got Milo a tablet because we went on holiday a few months ago. He barely uses it tbh but it’s great to have for on the go

What tablet have you all got/getting? I’m looking at the Amazon kids fire 7 that’s on offer for £50/60

We just got a standard Amazon fire . Personally didn’t see the point in getting a kids one because you can get all the same apps on a normal one and you cannot get the YouTube app on the kids one.. we love YouTube in this house 😅 Only brought a fire tablet because it was the cheapest we could find 🤣 I’d never buy him an expensive one at this age I’ve seen how rough he is with this one I’m honestly surprised it’s not broke yet

@Katie thank you! I actually have a fire tablet myself I use as a kindle so I might just buy a kid case for it because it will get launched😂😂

That’s what we did . His has a shockproof EVA case and it honestly bounces 🤣 brought a glass screen protector aswell just incase 😅 it’s lasted 2 months so we’re going well
