How is everyone coping being back to work?

The juggle is real! I’m fortunate that both sets of grandparents help out 3 days a week, I dropped to 4 days and my partner does 4 days but condensed hours. we wouldn’t be able to afford nursery at the moment, I’ve been back to work 12 weeks but this last few weeks we’ve all been poorly including grandparents which we then don’t have any fallback for childcare when we are working. It’s been a stressful couple of weeks ! Just wondering if anyone is feeling the same at the moment just burnt out, I’m constantly anxious at the moment! It’s so hard !

Total burnout here too. I'm really not keeping on top of housework because I'm so bloody tired! I wake up at 5:30am and don't get to sit down until 8pm and by that time I don't then want to do housework! I thought it would be easier to juggle everything than it is. I keep reminding myself that the important jobs get done and if my bathroom gets cleaned every couple of weeks rather than every week so be it. We need to take the time to rest where we can! It's so tough though and such a juggle!

It’s hard but it’s doable, me and my partner work he does nights and I do mornings his is in a warehouse and I do residential care so it kind of works out quite well for us but sometimes he gets flexed in the morning which is stressful for me as we don’t have our parents to fall back on as I have to start at 6am and he gets back about that time if not 7am, I have to talk to my office about it and see if they can sort it out if not that’s the only thing that’s stressful really, it will get easier ❤️

@Kathryn what do you do for work? Maybe make a goal to do one or 2 chores a day maybe stick a wash on and mop the floor or something just something little to keep on top of the house work and eventually it will get a bit easier and then whenever you get time just do a big clean and go back to doing the one or 2 things to keep on top of it 💕

@Charlotte I'm full time internal communications in an office and a part time Pilates teacher. I always cook dinner, do the washing up and get all the washing done, but everything else is very hit or miss. I try to not leave things longer than 2 weeks if I can help it
