18m old hates goodbyes… is it my fault?
Me and my sons dad split 2 months ago and I’ve noticed since then my son hates saying bye to anyone and gets really sad when anyone leaves whether it be family or friends and their children.
Is it because of us being split because his dad collects him he says bye to me and vice versa when i collect him from dads.
Feeling really guilty and want to make it so he knows when we say bye we come back, everybody does.
No, please it’s 100% not your fault. My boy is the same at the moment. He has such big meltdowns. Must be the age. And I am on the same page with byes. I think it’s important to do it rather than sneak out.
