I wanted to mention it was hidden as in the hidden locked category. The tablet DID have the photo app hidden and locked too so we weren’t worried about it because normally they only have electronics for less than hour a few times a week when I need to get something done. When my husband took the passcode lock off the Lock Screen he unlocked EVERYTHING.
@Haley Right??! She literally gave criticisms of me and slurred me saying I’m sleeping with “all these men.” It was two videos and about 10 pictures. Normally I delete them once I send them to my husband but tmi it had happened this week where the kids have been gone and I forgot about it 🤦♀️

@Mutago 🤭 he was embarrassed, overwhelmed, and upset. He tried to tell her it was him and to quit being nosy but ended up in a go-nowhere argument. He had to put his phone on do not disturb after he left because she’s been trash talking me. Funny enough I’m the only one that takes care of her and she usually says I’m her daughter. She’s super uptight about sex despite saying she wants more grandkids… for example, my husband often leaves hickies and she nonstop gives me shit about it. This is going to be endless and I know she’s telling everyone.
First of all - ew! What’s wrong with her? Snooping and the watching all that. Even if she found it by mistake, the first picture or clip should have sent her apologising or telling her son that she was concerned if she thought that you were cheating. Next, wear it with pride that you and your husband have a fiery sex life! And leave the cheating allegations to your husband to deal with. Just tell her you’ve talked about it as much as you’re going to and ignore anything else in the topic. If she says anything, just let it fall into silence/no response. Just carry on like nothing was said, then say something bland like - I really loved the veggies, such a beautiful day, I’m so excited about…. And leave it. Stop fuelling that fire.

Update: it’s come out that she’s known about them since we made them this week, she kept going back and looking at them and showing them to people. I honestly can’t be bothered any more as she can’t be reasoned with. She has told me at least 5 different sequences of events today and we’ve pieced the reality together from concerned friends and family whom she’s shown. Husband and I have decided to go very limited contact with her for the foreseeable future.

@Liv her same-age friends have had the same reaction except saying it’s none of their business. The family she’s shown are bewildered by her showing people and why she didn’t just take it and put it away and tell us when she saw it if it was an accident (our pov) and a few are mad on our behalf.

@Jay💖 she had a really messed up life/marriage. Her dad abused her in her teens and then her husband was abusive. She had a psychotic break and went crazy religious after her divorce. We try to overlook her in most cases and do our best to help but this has taken the cake…

Update 2: she went absolutely bat shit today and my kids and I are now no contact outside emergencies. Have yet to inform my husband as he’s not home yet but she will not be around my kids or in my home.
