The only way I can get my kid to brush his teeth is bribing with a new hot wheels car I tried keeping packaging and using old cars, he’s too smart for me. Toilet training is the same it’s the tin of roses. I mean at least he’s doing both now kinda but damn why couldn’t it have been a cheaper healthier choices 🤣😵‍💫🤣😵‍💫 My younger boys only 17 months and brushes his teeth independently with help no fuss and will sit on the toilet for pees and I didn’t do anything different so I just know I have a difficult 3 year old. Tips and tricks anyone

Just make it fun, be daft haha. It's so hard. My son has only just cracked potty training. Dry for over a week but it was a long journey and I know your son will get there too. I don't think he's being difficult, he just needs reassurance. Maybe he doesn't like the feel of the tooth brush in his mouth. Take him to shops and let him choose his own toothbrush , see if that will help. All children are different and will go at their own pace xx

Oh I know the feeling of having a difficult 3 year old, we got a reward chart for Lily for potty training which worked really well and she’s fully trained now. We now use a routine reward chart which consists of eating her dinner, brushing teeth, brushing hair, tidying up etc (all the things we were struggling with) we realised she liked the praise and reward and obviously a sticker on a reward chart is a lot easier and cheaper then cars and chocolate 🤣 don’t get me wrong she does still get a treat at the end of the week but it’s once she’s completed her full week on the reward chart and got stars for every day. Also what Ruth said we let Lily choose her own tooth brush and tooth paste which helped as well x
