Baby boy has RSV

My baby boy who is about 3.5 months now was just diagnosed with RSV. He has had a cough for a few weeks which I assumed was just from his older brother. Well we slept out Thanksgiving night and since then he has been inconsolable, wheezing, coughing so I brought him in and he has RSV. What should I do? I’m obviously following all the doctor’s orders, saline drops, nasal respiration, steam showers, etc. I just miss my sweet healthy boy and want him better. Waiting on the pharmacy to fill the saline nebulizer as well. Any tips or suggestions would be so helpful as I’m just worried sick for my little guy. Should I wake him to feed him or let him sleep? Thanks in advance for any help!

Aww sweet baby 👶 just keep doing what feels right and follow the doctors orders. You are doing great momma. I'm sure some extra love will also help him feel better!

You’re doing great. My little one had what I thought was a cold and we brought her to the doctor on Tuesday for 4-month vaccines…it’s RSV. We’ve been doing the saline drops, saline Nebulizer treatments every 2 hours, albuterol treatments every 4, nasal suction and sitting in a steamy bathroom. Suction your sweet baby’s mouth if he coughs and starts to spit up mucous. You can also apply Baby Vicks to his feet, back and chest. It’s just terrible when they’re sick.
