This is my thinking too! How did you tell people ?
We told work around 14 weeks, (mainly because my husband works there too and was getting super protective about me being asked to do anything too physical!) and told close friends around the same time. I totally intended to put an announcement on Facebook to let other friends etc know, but kept putting it off for some reason… finally did it the other day at 8 months! 😅 I guess I didn’t want to feel like I was tempting fate by announcing anything too early! some people were a bit surprised (I’m 40 and my husband is 50, I don’t think anyone was expecting us to have a baby at this point!) but everyone has been super supportive and happy for us :)
Thank you ! That’s good to know people leave these things until later. Theres a lot of pressure to wait until 12 weeks but then you must tell everyone
By law you have to tell them by 25 weeks
Yes I was the same ! When people did find out they were really nice and supportive. Was nice doing it later as then it didn’t feel like I was pregnant for ages like when you announce early on x
