my LO was the same when going from a 4 to a 5 which she’s currently in. 4s were so tight and leaked super easy but 5s were huge on her we had to try out other brands that ran sizes differently for a while until she was big enough for the 5s
My baby has been in 7 for several months, but she's 99th percentile height, I just have big babies that tend to be the size of older children
@Shannon I tried a bunch of brands! Pampers, Huggies, luvs, rascals, dollar general brand, etc. we got a bunch of small packs during the hurricane in our area (WNC) so I was able to try a bunch. None of the size 6s seem to fit his waist/butt anymore. This is wild lol He also only fits in 2-3t pants because of the waist… maybe it’s just how he carries weight??
@Sarah Crazy! My LO sized out of her 4 Pampers overnights and is a little snug in 4 Huggies daytimes, but her size 4 Coteries fit really well still!
Mine is still in 3s lol
Mine is a size 7 in huggies its a weird fit on her too since she has thick legs but small waist lol
well thighs😅
My girl is 28 lbs in size four, I find Walmart and target brand run a little bigger
My 1.5 year old and 3 year old both wear size 6 in the Sams or Costco brand diapers. They could both get away with a 5, but it’s a little snug. I’ve never had an issue but I’ve always used Kirkland’s from Costco and recently the Members choice from Sam’s.
My baby is about the same size and she’s in size 6 pampers swaddlers. I’ve played with sizing and I think it’s all about finding a good fit and not following the weight guidance
My early baby is 28 lbs, 36 in tall, and has been in size 7 diapers since literally the summer 💙
My son is 1.7yrs old and is 32ibs and Is already in pull ups he’s wearing 3-4t now cuz the 1-2t was getting smaller and smaller on him I think he’s gonna be a giant when he’s older 😭
Hm - my babe is the same height and weight and still in 4s (5s overnight). Haver you tried different brands for a better fit?
