Uterine Artery doppler high

Hey future moms to be, I just got my 20 weeks scan 🥳 all is good however, after looking at everything and getting to know the gender the nurse gave us the report and just leaving she said that I am going to have more appointments as my Uterine artery doppler is high and they need to monitor it, she told me not to worry as 3 of 10 women has it and it leads to nothing. To get in context I looked up on the internet what does it mean as she din’t seem worried and did not tell me anything and it means that at some point my baby might stop growing and there is when I am worry about although she told me to take it as I am going to see the baby more often. Anyone in the same situation or had this before? What can I do to prevent any further issues?

I've literally just had that scan ten minutes ago. They checked the cord and the blood flow and listened to sound waves so see if it sounds normal. They did this scan due to my first baby being very small at birth, so they wanted to make sure all was okay with the blood flow to the placenta x

I’ve been told the same and that I require additional scans at 28 & 36 weeks and a consultant appointment at 39. Was given a leaflet but it didn’t provide much detail.

I’m getting the Doppler done at my 24 week scan as my first baby had fetal growth restriction. My consultant said the result they get just indicates whether your baby is at risk of becoming growth restricted before 32 weeks. You will most likely receive extra growth scans which will either say nothing is wrong or that your baby isn’t growing as they should. Once they say that you will have extra monitoring and your consultant will likely start making a birth plan and want to deliver early/do a c section/early induction..all depends on how small the baby is. I wouldn’t worry too much until you have had your growth scans and you get a definite answer as there really isn’t anything you can do about it xx
