Being sent for a growth scan

please do not worry, i had continuous growth scans because they said i was measuring too small, baby was 7lb when she was born xxx

don’t worry! i had the same thing when i had different midwife’s. one of the midwife’s measured above my pelvic bone whereas the other measured below it, so naturally there was a massive change in my growth chart. scan showed everything all good with growth and just was due to the difference in measurements!

I had 3 growth scan as they said my boy would be a really big baby and even induced me because of it and he was 8 pound 14, he is still wearing first size clothes ha, so don't worry about it.

Also having growth scans because fundal measurements are small :) my baby is growing perfectly - please don’t panic.

Measuring fundal height is a bit of a pseudoscience. Ask three people to measure and you’ll get three different measurements. It also depends on your overall height, MBI, position of baby, engagement etc. Do not worry, have a scan and you’ll know where you stand

I wouldn't worry. They used to freak me out all the time over things they were nothing

It’s different for everyone but they’re important nonetheless. Don’t worry too much about it.

I have to go for more scans than what’s on offer because of my BMI 🤷‍♀️ lol still no clue why but I’m just excited to be seeing my bubba again on the big screen ☺️ I’m sure if they had any concerns they would have explained to you why etc so try not to worry hun. My cousins baby was also showing up 9lbs nearly 3 months before she was due but now that the dates close she’s absolutely okay. I think precautions are best and at least you get to see your bubba again 🥰🥰 wish you all the best love!
