Hi lovely! We have 6 indoor cats, and they have been an absolute dream with our little one. I was in hospital for 10 days as I was induced with our little girl, so when we did get home they were more interested in seeing me than seeing her🤣 We made sure they had plenty of space and allowed them to meet her in their own time, and also made sure they had lots of fuss from us. Our little girl is 10 months old now, and it's been lovely to see them bond as she's grown xx
I’m also so worried about my 2 indoor cats taking it badly! They are my first babies and I absolutely adore them so just want them to be happy! We’ve bought feliways, have put all the baby stuff out for them to explore, playing baby noises for them to get used to and they’ve both had a vet check! they are fairly used to children luckily as my sister has 2 but I can’t help but worry! Hope it goes well for you! I’ve been told with a bit of patience and extra love, they usually are fine!
Look on Amazon for a cat net for cot and prams they are what I’m gonna get
My cat was absolutely fine with my little boy. He is now 18 months and pets and kisses her all the time, she is very good with him, I think they know they are babies!
I have 2 indoor cats and they weren’t yet 1 when my little one came along. They were amazing, interested but kept a safe distance and are really good with her 😊 x
I have 2 indoor cats. When my first daughter was born one of them was a bit wary and took ages to get used to her being around and the other was absolutely fine. My second daughter is now 4 weeks and they have both been chilled. Try not to worry I'm sure they'll be fine xxx
My indoor cat unfortunately took very badly. He was always following me around and the sudden change really affected him. He got depressed and stopped eating. This lead to him being quite dehydrated and had to take to emergency vets and stay for couple of days. He is now totally fine and adjusted to having baby around. But my advise would be to please Pay attention to how much your cat is eating and drinking water coz dehydration can be detrimental. Also give the cat extra attention and love! It affects them more than we think because cats are so attached to their routine and changes in can affect them quite badly.
