A close friend, yeah

Depends on the friend.

Yes but it would depend on which family member or friend and on if they have experience with babies are mothers etc and Id either be in the same room area or very close by to where I can hear or see my baby . Whenever my babies cry I come a running 🫠

Depends. Obviously if I had asked them to babysit then yes. That said there is only one friend I’d probably feel comfortable as she was a nursery worker.

only my husband and i have changed her diaper

No only me and hubby x

I’ve only got 2 friends I’d let change her, simply because I don’t think anyone else would know how to 😂 one is my childhood best friend of 20 years and her godmother, the other is another mum and I trust he completely.

My best friend is a nanny and daycare teacher and still hasn’t changed my kids 😂

There are about 5 female friends I have who I would let do that. All moms. Known them for years. I do trust them. More so I know they would only offer if they saw I was struggling and stressed and not them just randomly offering.

Me, husband, BFF “S” (yes when my oldest was a newborn, no now that she’s a toddler and no to my youngest), BFF “H” (both yes), MIL (nb no, toddler yes)

Yes my best friend changed my baby’s nappy. She also gave my daughter her first bath. Shes also my child’s godmother.

Depends on the friend. But I prefer family and even then I am hesitant because of the statistics and try to keep it minimal. But my daughter does go and spends the night with her grandparents on both sides and great grandparents around our working schedule.

I just re -read that this is speaking about a new born and not an older baby and I still would allow it definitely for another mother or friend & or family member that I know but I’d definitely be right there. My husband doesn’t even change our new born diapers I’m the only one who has with all three of our children by preference as it’s very early on and I’ve always hibernated at home with little to no visitors during that time exclusively nursing around the clock day and night
