Nursery teacher gifts…

Hey ladies, I’d like to get the nursery staff a little Christmas gift as they’ve been superb helping our son settle into nursery. Any ideas please? Ideally something they’d want/appreciate rather than my husband’s suggestion of a “great teacher” mug lol. I was thinking a voucher or is that too practical?

I make personalised items so that might be a option

We bought Christmas cookies and will make them by ourselves Christmas cards.

We usually just get a big box of chocolate or biscuits and a card , they usually share the Christmas gifts they receive between them, so you don’t know who will get your 🎁

@Mia oh I didn’t know that! I’ll play it safe and get chocolates. Can’t really go wrong then.

I'm a nursery nurse and a parent recently gave us vouchers towards the cost of our night out

If you can find out where they’re having their Christmas party you could maybe get them a voucher for there so they can get a drink on you? We’ve done that for our nursery the last couple of years. Just saves them having to share things out maybe if there’s not just one key worker

@Kathy that’s a fab idea! Thank you

@Hannah such a good idea! I’ll try and find out. My boy does have a key worker but they’ve both been great. I’d love to get them a drink on me

I’ve made a hamper of different sweet, biscuits, chocolate and crisps. So they can share them out, I did money(towards their Christmas night out)last year but I can’t afford to do that this year. X

@Clarissa I think that’s a lovely idea doing the hamper tbh. I went in and asked and they said chocs, can’t go wrong
