Saw it at 6 weeks and heard it at 10 weeks appointment but if they hadn’t at least seen it by now, they would’ve said something
I’m 12 weeks I bought a Doppler and can hear and find it
@Kayla we couldn't hear it during the ultrasound but you could see the heart beating during the dating ultrasound and my first appointment they did one because they couldn't hear it with the Doppler. Still can't hear it with the Doppler ☹️
@Nika yes we've seen it just haven't heard it. I'm impatient lol
@Kaylea ugh I can't wait to hear mine 😭
@Ashley That’s odd. Tell them you want to hear the heartbeat!! I’ve never been told no. As for the doppler, it has a big learning curve. A slight misangle or a hair over to the wrong side you can miss it, especially with how tiny they are right now, don’t be discouraged! Keep trying :)
We couldn’t find ours using a Doppler at 12w so they did an ultrasound to find one that way. I was kinda sad not being able to hear it yet, but baby is doing great ❤️
If it was an intravaginal ultrasound, it’s likely you didn’t hear it and those are used on early ultrasounds. You likely would have just seen the heartbeat flutter on the screen. Once the ultrasound is over-the-stomach with a Doppler… you should be able to. I would just specify you really want to hear the heartbeat and I’ve always had them turn it right on.
Are you talking about haven’t heard it during your ultrasound? If they hadn’t found the heartbeat they would immediately tell you. I found mine on at home doppler at 9 weeks, regular ultrasound 10 weeks, and again during private ultrasound 11 weeks
