@Elly it was close to 3rd percentile.
Scans can be inaccurate …. And alot of factors are in place. Just make sure you are monitoring baby movements. The good thing is you are being monitored and they will advice you with each scan and are in good hands as these are experts. don’t hesitate to ask all the questions. know it can be really worrying and anxious… easier said than done. Hope all goes well.
I had a scan on Monday at 32+1 and baby is measuring 4lbs 3. They said he’s perfect and plotting well on his growth chart. Could it be that his growth chart was expecting him to be bigger at this point? I’d take the extra scan, baby could have a growth spurt and they might leave you alone haha!
What centile was baby measuring against? Scans can be inaccurate, but to make any clinical decision on one scan for size isn't particularly useful. You'd want to have a couple to monitor growth and see what cdntile baby is tracking. Tracking the same centile is the important thing. Big jumps high or lower are where there start to be clinical considerations. Or at least that's what I was always told!
