How many days dpo for a positive?

Hi all, how many days DPO is it normally for a positive test? Don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of testing every day!! I’m 5 days DPO xx

I get a positive 5 days before my period is due

It might depend on the test you are using. With the 6 day early clear blue, you’d have a 99% accuracy 3 days before your period. If your period varies, you could also ask ChatGPT - I usually do the calculations with them :)

5 dpo is way early! Implantation usually happens between 8-10 dpo (can be between 6-12) then HCG still needs time to rise to a detectable level

I typically wait until 9/10 doo because you have to give implantation time to start creating HCG
