Don’t know anymore

Back like 10-15 years ago I was hooking up with one of my brothers friends. My brother was so mad at the time so we just parted ways for a while, up until recently. We happened to hang out him me and my brother. Honestly it was fun and the feelings I had actually have never gone away. I still wanted to continue where we left off and here’s what happened: I went to his place about a week or so ago. It was his birthday and he was like come on I only have one birthday per year lmao so he convinced me to come over and meet his kids. Which honestly I didnt want to meet his kids yet. But it was real awkward. His daughter is like 10 yr and she kept starring me down, almost like she was making sure I wasn’t going to go near her dad. Which is fine, I wasn’t going too. Then she started cuddling and stuff with her but yeah. My child wasn’t with me so yeah it was a bit different for me. So after that I told him about his daughter and he said “do you really think so” I said yes. Then I told him I would never touch him. Well we was supposed to hang out the next day, he ditched me no communication at all. So I sent him a text telling him he ditched me. He said sorry blah blah blah which cool then he told me he would text me later, never heard from him. Then I randomly send him another text after all that asking if he’s ok. He read my message and never got back to me. Was I being mean? Like I don’t want to be the asshole I’ve always loved this guy like tbh yeah I’ve moved on but like idk what to do and I hope I didn’t offend him. Also while I was at his house he told me about his first ex gf from like 20 years ago he says she makes him cuddle and fuck him. So idk nothing makes sense
