@Kaylee She said it so nonchalant too my partner even asked her how many cm’s and she repeated 7cm! Did she mention that you would be monitored?
I can't remember the measurements of mine. I'll have to check when I get home. I remember it was bigger than my actual ovary. But no they said they don't normally cause any problems but if it did start causing issued I would have to be referred to obstetrics as well. X
I’ve got a large cyst on my right ovary too, the nurse said it was only a problem if it twists, which would be painful, but it’s a simple cyst (non-vascular) so otherwise best to leave it alone
@Danielle She said the same to me too! Fingers crossed it goes down! x
Ive got a large one ( over 6cm) on my left ovary ( which has my corpus Lutem on it too) they gave me two options surgery now or after baby obviously i chose after baby as now they said could cause a miscarriage xx they said theyll monitor its growth xx
On my early scan at the EPU, she said I had a cyst but honestly, I was so overjoyed at seeing the heartbeat it was a pretty quick comment at the end, she basically said “you have a cyst on your ovary but it’s common in pregnancy” & it wasn’t even put on my hospital notes so I’ve decided to not stress about it..for now at least🙏🏼
They said the same to me but reassured me that it was normal and that it just meant the baby came from the left side (where my cyst was) I did think it’s pretty poor wording as naturally makes you panic hearing that but she said I don’t need to panic 🙏🏼

I had a scan at the early pregnancy unit and they also found a rather large cyst on my right ovary as well. No one said it was anything to worry about though.... 🤔
