District Nurse - struggling in the ice!

Any district nurses on here who can offer advice? I’m 26 weeks with my first baby and today felt so overwhelmed with the icy weather conditions, I’m absolutely terrified of falling. Some visits I would get out my car and my feet just felt like they were sliding away from me. What have others done in this situation? Any advice? I don’t want to come across as precious to my colleagues but I feel really stressed as tomorrow looks to be even worse underfoot.

We look at more office or home based work when it is really bad ajd have even looked at days spent in other buildings if the ice hasn’t been gritted well enougu
