Is it strange?

It was my son’s birthday yesterday so my son, daughter, my husband and I went out to eat. We went to a steak house my husband was ordering for us because that’s what he usually does. But he ordered a kids meal steak for my son a rack of ribs for himself and a kids meal steak for me and he said he was going to share with our daughter. In my mind I already knew my daughter was not going to like what he ordered. When the food got to our table my daughter was complaining so I just gave her my food. So they were the only 3 eating, when we were leaving I told my husband that I would like to take the car so I can get something to eat, he told me no and that basically he doesn’t like me driving his car. I have driven his car before, I have never gotten into an accident with his car or any car. So for him to tell me no was strange to me that he doesn’t want to drive his car anymore, is it strange or am I overthinking.

Why did you not just say something while he was ordering if you knew your daughter wasn’t going to eat what he was ordering?

I did, but he insisted on sharing and things was escalating from there so I didn’t want to say more

Seems like he could be angry with you about something you don’t know about ? 😂 not ordering you an adult meal? Suddenly not want you to drive his car to get yourself food. Watching you give your meal to the child and not saying babe you can order something else then or even offering to share his food? Something Definitely sounds off

Lmao you’re probably right, I was just confused i didn’t mind giving my daughter my food i was jus getting something else when we left but he got mad which was confusing to me lol because I wasn’t mad just hungry😅

Hrs wrong for not letting you order... why is he ordering you a kids meal you're grown asf and that's probably not even enough food. I get saving money but in that case you and him should of shared the big adult meal. But that's just how me and my fiancé would of done it. Did you even get any food after he said no??
