It depends on your particular situation... In my case, one of baby's leg/foot had deformation, so they referred me to fetal specialist, and then they re-reffered me to the other hospital where there are more experienced specialists. So I have to go for more scans now, and I had amniotic fluid taken for chromosomal disorders testing etc.... But it so much depends on what exactly they found on your routine scan..

All was perfectly fine, it was for my GD and to measure babies!
I’m currently under fetal medicine at the moment for my baby boy, he has a CPAM and honestly the people within fetal medicine make you feel extremely well looked after and calm!
