I give some from me, I am santa, and my parents give some from them

Yes. That said I’ve told my mum she doesn’t need to but she enjoys doing it. She’s disabled, struggles to write, let alone wrap presents. Last year especially as my dad passed away from cancer soon after Xmas.

Yes I do. Honestly if they didn't I'd be pretty pissed. Especially because my mother expects everyone to get her expensive gifts. I've also paid for my siblings Christmases before so I'd be even more mad if they didn't when they had the money

I expect a form of showing affection but not necessarily gifts. Like spending time together or sending a card or calling on the phone or something

Once I had my daughter I now expect them to buy her things but I don’t expect for myself from them anymore x

I don't expect it but they like doing it. This year I've told my mum not to as my kids don't want anything and we're not spending Christmas with her as I can't travel so close to my due date. They'll have enough with my presents!

I don't expect it. My parents don't because they live a continent away and I have enough. However my in laws are very involved with us and looove gifting 🎁

They don’t buy presents/gifts, they give money instead.

Of course not! Money is so tight around this time of year, especially with inflation and everything! As long as they make effort with my son then I’m fine with it, they don’t need to spend money to make us happy, Christmas isn’t about presents!! Xx

I don’t expect it but they do

I know that they are going to but I also get gifts and such
